Thumbs up New shocks!

I just installed a set of Pro Comp ES3000 on the Ex replacing the factory shocks. Man what a difference!!! I highly suggest anybody with over 50,000 miles to get new shocks. Makes a world of difference!!!

I put the new Edelbrock shock on my 02 X, bought them online from truck performance they were about $300 shipped to my door. Expensive but what a great ride.

I replaced my originals at 79K with the Monroe Reflex shocks. They work great and even match my arizona beige paint.

I would say that is true for an Excursion. There is no difference between a 1/4 ton shock and a 1 ton shock from what I am told. Just the lengths and mounting types. With the size of an X compared to say a CJ7 or bronco II those can keep a set of shocks for 40 to 80k miles depending on how hard it is wheeled.

Will new shocks help the 2WD Ex as much as the 4WD? Most of the shock talk is the 4WD guys.
