Stereo Won't Work
My 94 F150 radio/cd player has the word BAD in the face plate and will not turn on or shut off. The word bad comes on once the vehicle starts up. Is there a solution or fix, or should I get a new stereo.
When you get a pioneer unit, get one of the wiring harness adapters (about $15.00) for you year vehicle. Solder the wires from the adapter to the matching wires on the head unit.
Match up the mounting adapter and plug it in.
Just for S&G. Disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes. Then re-connect and turn on the radio. Sometimes the CD unit will go bad and jam up the whole works. Disconnecting the radio might just let it reset.
