Post Transmission Problems 4R100

I just recently had to pay $3200 for a new transmission on my 2000, F-250 4x4 Super Crew. I only have 44,000 miles on it.
The transmission was slipping and when I brought it to the Ford servicing dealer, they said that the transmission suffered a complete meltdown. I talked to all of the people at the servicing dealer, even the top brass, the zone manager and the Ford Customer Relations Dept. All of them told me the same thing. They said that I am responsible becuase, I did not get the transmission fluid changed at 30,000 miles. I was also told that it because I was out of warrantee. In doing research on the net, I have found tons of sites that have mentions of problems with this 4R100 tranny. I am trying to get enough testimonials and information to take them to small claims court or if enough people are interested, persuing a class action lawsuit. If you have had a similar situation like this, please let me know. I will also have my website ready in about a week for everyone to see and leave comments. Customer service is not job one at Ford.
Thanks,

Vince

I'm sorry to hear of your problems.

One question though...Did you EVER change your fluid?

I think that you could have a problem. Fords warrenty spells out that owners must have the service proformed so that the warrenty is not voided.

I have a 2000 f350 4x4 diesel with 102000 on the Ori transmission and I tow alot. I have had the oil changed every 30000 miles and the tranny is still holding strong.

I am very sorry that you have had a problem but the oils do break down.

I have a question do you have a wintch on your truck. I had a friend that smoked his tranny because of the the lower air being blocked.
