208 shift pattern

208 shift pattern
I just bought a '86 F-150 4x4. It's me first Fargin Old Rebuilt Dodge, so this is prolly a moronic question, but cant find the answer anywhere 
What is the 4x4 shift pattern for the NP 208?
I get 2hi all the way back and 4hi all the way forward and don't feel any 4lo or neutral....I assume it has a 4lo and a neutral gear...or am I wrong? If I'm right, is there a shift right or left in the pattern, or is it a straight shift pattern? If it's a straight shift pattern, has anyone encountered this problem and found a possible remedy?
I was planning on doing a rebuild for the tranny as it's leaking like a sieve out of virtually every seal in the case...was also gonna replace the bearings, but is there anything I might want to replace while I'm in there? shift forks, linkage rods, etc.?
