i don't know if you have the lemon law in your state but i would check it out. i had an 01 eddie bauer expedition. at above 75 mph, the truck would shake. it went in the shop 4 times and they couldn't fix it. i contacted a lemon law lawyer, after 6 months i had a check for $8,000 got to keep the truck and they HAD to fix the problem within one visit. they put new tires, rims, suspension you name it they did it and it was fixed.. check it out might we worth your time.....
My regular cab is soooo quiet.100kmph on dirt & logging roads and she is still quiet.
My ecabs rattle from use.On dirt & logging roads they drum. Weak cab design.
I have not been in a 4 door ecab that didn't rattle the doors or squeek.
I'm looking for towing specs on the 2002 f250 and can't get my hands on that model years towing guide. Could you please tell me what the guide indicates for the maximum loaded trailer weight? I trying to confirm that it rose from 10,000# for the 2001 to something higher. Much appreciated.

They sprayed the door seals, the doors, the dashboard, the steering wheel with some lubricant to keep the doors from squeeking.
I get it all over my hands every time I close the doors.
Before I get to the next intersection I can tell that the truck is not fixed. I decided it was best that I leave the dealership because I was too PO'ed to talk rationally.
Louisiana does have a lemon law. I will do some research.
I am so glad to hear that Im not the only one with door rattling problems on my super cab. I am now on a mission to find a fix. I will let you all know if I find one. Its driving me crazy!
Jet
Didn't you ever get annoyed with the ECS packs squeaking on the jets?
Little off but my bed is shifted over to the driver side just enough to get the edge dirty when the passenger side won't. How do I adjust it without loosing the bed bolts ( mine are line-xed)? Thanks

That is what I want. As many people as possible need to complain to ford about this so that the next gen can be better. IMO we pay too much for these vehicles for them to flex like a suspension bridge.

I am waiting for a call so that I can have an appointment with the southern Ford Rep to talk about options. I would have expected a call by now. I talked to the service manager on friday.
I first brought the truck in at 10k miles for a leaking turbo hose and creaks. It has been downhill from there.
I also want to alert people about Banner Ford In Mandeville, Louisiana.
The service dept there is just horrible. There slogan is "Where customers send their friends." I think it should be "Where customers warn their friends."
Carpe diem,
I think the problem is with the rear doors that open on newer supercabs. I dont think they had rear opening doors in 1989. IMO the new supercabs w/4 opening doors aren't supported as as well as the older ones w/2 opening doors.
