'60 hood
My 1960 F-100 has a '59 hood on it. Three or four years ago I had a friend of mine try to find me a '60 hood. He said he found one. Brought it over. I bought it. Friend's long gone. I find out now it's a '58. grrrr...
Everyone tells me just to put it on and paint it, it will look fine, but for some reason I can't.
What would you do?

I have one in Billings, Mt on a panel truck that I just purchased. However, the shipping cost to you may be expensive for a part that large.

I'd keep the '59 hood, because it looks much better than the '60 hood. I'd get rid of the rest of the '60 sheet metal as soon as I could. As a matter of fact, I have a couple of fairly good '60 front clips that I'd really like to swap for '57 or '59 clips. (location: Vancouver Island, B.C.)
