Another Question

I've been pondering adding a sidemount tire carrier behind the driver's door. One of my concerns is , of course, how it will look. I like the lines of my truck as it is now, and would hate to install the tire carrier and not like the look. I guess I'm asking for a poll. What do you think?

I've been trying to find an original one for my '50 F2
it had one but the previous owner scrapped it
personaly I like the original look of having it there

THe 48-52 Ford trucks did not have a side mounted spare tire from the factory, it was mounted under the rear of the bed. 1953 was the first year for the side mounted spare tire. You had to also have the indent in the fender to make it work properly. Your previous owner added it to the truck or it was done before him.
