Question T-Case Fluid & Capacity
Can anyone tell me the type and quantity of fluid in the transfer case of my '98 Expedition. I thought it was 2qts. of ATF but I wanted to be sure.

My 2000 takes Mercon and my manual says level should be just below the fill hole.

My 97 is the same...... Mercon fill to the bottom of the fill hole. It should be approximately 2 qts.
