Front Sway Bar

One of the links on my front sway bay is broken. The top bolt is broken off, it dosen't look like there is any other damage. Is this a common problem?

Very simple fix! You can pick up a new link for $25 at a Ford dealer. My local dealer keeps lots of these since it is so common. Also in these forums I have seen people say they picked up at NAPA also for around the same price. Also there are aftermarket options which you can pick up at http://www.performancesuspension.com/

Answering Yes would be an understatement.
Replacing Ford links with more Ford links creates a vicious circle of repeat breakage. Try Energy Suspension - less than $20.00 for all links and the sway bar bushings. Love my Expy, except the quality. Just my humble opinion.

What timing....I just replaced mine last weekend. Went ahead and replaced both since I was under there. Took 30 minutes and cost less than $30.

Hope you have some air tools and some vice grips. Made it simple.....
