Question Windsurfing / camping van conversion

Being the excited new owner of a 2001 E350 (cargo), I'm about to embark on the journey of doing a van conversion on it. It will become my windsurfing/camping RV. I will be having a conversion outfit put in a couple of windows (it has no side windows at present); do the floor, walls and ceiling; put in some lighting; install PDLs; and a 50" wide sofabed. The floor will be black, low-pile marine carpet; the walls will be 1/2" closed cell foam + 1/8" wood + medium gray foss upholstery fabric. I will be doing some pre-wiring, and later adding aux power, cabinets, table, sound system, computer system and DVD ... and even later, propane a kitchen unit, and furnace. Anyone else on this forum do anything remotely similar? One question I have is whether I should stuff or inject some insulation into the wall and door crevices for added soundproofing and insulation? Any other recommendations also appreciated.

I've been looking at insulations like this one:

http://www.superhvac.com/astrofoil/help/

that have foil faces on 2 sides. There are a bunch of different
types of core materials. HVAC supply stores might have something cheap in bulk rolls.

http://www.quietride.com/article.html
has some pics of this type material.

1/8" sounds a little thin for plywood but might be OK if you found some high quality panels.
