Explorer speakers

Im gonna change my speakers cause the originals arnt too good. anyone know if the door comes off easy?

Yes it does. You might look at Harbor Frieght Tools. They sell a door panel tool real cheap, but you can also use a putty knife to work the panel loose. First remove the screws around the latch. I can't remember where the screws are, but you will probably figure it out.

I just bought a 2002 XLT, so I have to do it again. Was looking at the 6"x8" speakers on the Crutchfield site.

definately use a tool when taking off the panels or you'll bend clips. other than that the door comes off really easy. I just installed 4 polk db570's all around and it went in in like 45 min. (sounds really good too).

did it today...really easy...two screws and just snaps around the edge...definately worth doing

i put in Kenwood KFC-5708C that i had put in my old car about 2 months ago. they sound good for a reasonable price of $60 a pair...also threw my Kicker Solo-Baric L7 S15L72 in the back with a 600w MA Audio Amp
