460 carb conversion on a 89

I just got an old 460 out of a 89 F-250. I would like to rebuild it with a....lot of performance parts and there is not a...lot out there for late model FI 460's. So would it be better to convert it to a carb and if i could, would i be able to use all the aftermarket parts that are for the 68-87 460's?

It would give you a good baseline to start from.
