Question E4OD drinking fluid

Yes another post about the infamous E4OD tranny ,
here is the problem step son took my 92 F 150 out for a ride and buried it to the tops of the 35 inch tires , before this I was having the normal E4OD problems(hard 1-2 shift slow reverse engagment etc.) any how got the truck home found the tranny to be bone dry . Changed the filter added new fluid drove it for about 2 days rechecked fluid and topped it off. now about every 2 days a quart of fluid mysteriously disappears. Cant find any sign of a leak any ideas as to were the fluid might be going

any assistance would be greatly appreciated

ps: the truck has the 300 six engine with 35 inch tires
would the tire size affect the speed sensor enough to be causing the hard - shift ??

I am going to assume that the truck in question is the 4WD one in your sig. Pull the fill plug on the transfer case to see if it is over filled. If fluid comes gushing out then that is where your transmission fluid is going. This means you have a bad gasket/seal between your transmission and transfer case. If the tranfer case is not over filled then your guess is as good as mine.

Yeah Boss it is I checked the transfer case its fluid level is normal , also fluid level has stabalized but a new symptom has reared its ugly head. I drove the truck to work tonight it seemed ok still has a neck snapping 1-2 shift and slight slipping between 2 -3 , but now when i shut the truck off there is a buzzing noise coming from under the truck like a small electric motor trying to engage it runs for about 5 seconds then stops for a second and restarts ??????? is there a relay or solenoid on this tranny that might be messed up from being buried in a mud pit ?????
p.s. step son has spent last 2 weekends cleaning under the truck and cleaning the garage he is gonna pay for this one way or another .......HEHEHEHEHE
