my electric shift hasnt been that much trouble for me, there have been its times where it would either not go in, or not come out. im swapping in a Manual T-case right now just becasue i got a good deal on it and im stupid(i like to have shifters to yank on. lol) as for my 5.8, i used to have the 5.0 and it was a good motor, the 5.8 should get just as good milage as the 5.0, but there is still somthin wrong with mine and im getting horrible milage. i do think the 5.8 does have its extra umoof though, and i feel like it will get much better once i get it running right!
