I like BDS components, but their shocks leave a lot to be desired. I put a 6" BDS on an 01 4 door PSD and the ride was ok until the shocks all basically froze into one position in about 6 months. I replaced the shocks with some Skyjackers and have been VERY happy with the results for over two years.
Yep, decent kit.......springs made by a company called Glide Ride out of Canada I believe, have a good warranty, but as was mentioned their shocks aren't the greatest available. I'd go with Bilsteins over the BDS shocks for a better ride.
yeah a friend of mine with a K-5 blazer has a 6" BDS lift and the shocks blew out after a few months with only off roading once and it wasnt even that bad. like said above get new shocks and you will be all set.
Thanks - what I will probably do is use the ones that come with it until I can afford some others. Maybe some one local will want to buy my Rancho's - only 2800 miles on them...
i got the 4" kit with rear blocks i don't like it, also a friend of mine installed a 4"kit a month ago with 6" rear leafs and no blocks, ride makes me jelous. Bds was great warrente
if my shocks blew out that soon i could get em replace. I abused my shocks kit installed at 10,000 i at 33,000 now with few problems.i beat the **** out of this system. i ruined the stock system, they definiatly blow out easy.

If you don't mind me asking - why don't you like it? What is it about it? The looks?
Thanks for your reply ahead of time casue that is the kit I am getting...
well for starts, the kit on the webpage says it comes with front swaybar links and it doesn't. I don't have a swaybar on my truck anymore which is my solution. i was told to flip the stock bracket 180, and bolt on upside down. this led to somekind of swaybar missalignment and click clacked up and down going over bumps. i have any undechassis raddle. my friend installed his 4" kit like i did with the brack flip and hasn't had a problem yet. it's bee 2 weeks. i went like 8 months before removal. the rear blocks are alright i guess for a cheap solution to a real problem. axle wrap isn't to much of an issue, but the front 4" spring seems to be to soft in combination with the stock rear spring. the 6" spring seemed much softer. i am curious to see how my 8" rears will ride.
my .02
just my 2 cents. You know of any steering stablilzers that don't hang so low.
wow looks like good design. i wish i knew about this product. must cost like 5 million dollars from this "cool guy" suspension co. i have gown through like 6 stabilizer cyclinders.(stumps)
