you dont need to change carrier housings.... in either front or rear.. just get the gear set and it bolts right up..... Its a bit of a pain but i managed to do it all in about 10 hrs.

I have a 2002 XLT Crew Cab Diesel 4x4. I just ordered a set of 35" tires (it has a 4" suspension lift). It has 3.73 gears, and I am thinking about switching to 4.11s.
I once had an '85 CJ-7 that I swapped the factory 29s for 33s, and I no longer needed a fifth gear, since I didn't do a gear swap. I expect to see similar behavior after I replace my factory 265s (32s) with the 35s.
Is this really just a matter of removing the old gears and installing the new ones? Can I expect a 10-hour job? Do I need tools other than rachets, etc.? Can one person do the swap?
If I wanted to pay a shop to do the swap, what would be a reasonable charge ("You know. Don't want to pay too much.").
