P0153 - P1152 Codes

If I'm correct the P0153 code tells me I need a new Bank 2 Sensor 1 oxygen sensor.

This is the driver's side closest to the engine??

Is the P1152 code related?

BTW - Great Forum!

Hi rpm1969 and welcome to the forum

The P0153 means that H02S-21 has slow response and the P1152 means that H02S-21 is reading rich and not switching.
H02S-21 means Heated Oxygen Sensor- bank2, 1st sensor.....the driver's side front one like you thought
H02S-11 would be bank1, 1st sensor, H02S-12 would be bank1, 2nd sensor etc.
Chances are pretty good that a new sensor will take care of it.

Thank you.

While I'm not a mechanic, I do try to work on my own vehicles when I can. (1997 F-150 and a 1999 Explorer).

Hope I can contribute to the forum.
