disable door chime?

disable door chime?
Is there any way to disable the chime/light when the engine is running and a door is opened? I can hear the door open and see the interior light come on, I don't need the chime!

i always just push the latch on my tuck shut to "fool" the truck into thinkin that my door is closed. just be sure to open the door before you shut it or you might damage somethin. kinda a jerry-riggin kinda way to do it, but it aint as anoyin'.
