I too have been cruisin this site for some time now in anticipation of delivery on my new superduty trk. I ordered on Feb 11, got a build date of 4/1 and am bitin at the bit waitin. You guys have helped maintain my sanity in the interim. Wife is gettin ticked since I've been buying add-on goodies and I don't even have the thing yet. So far I've purchased the K&N FIPK, seat covers, jumper cables, fog lamps, bed mat, towing odds and ends, mud flaps and I forget what else. The trk is a 250 4X4, V-10, 4.30 LS, Snow Plow Pkg, Off-Road Pkg, 6 Spd, 265/75/r16 All Terrain tires. Enjoying this site and have a number of questions that I'll post to the proper locations. Looking forward to participate with your group!!:-)
I believe you will be in for a treat when you "pickup" your new Super Duty. The V-10 with the manual is a neat combo in my totally baised opinion.I ordered mine (reg cab 350)on 02-02-02 and picked it up 03-12-02.It only had to be transported from Louisville to Cincinnati(less than 125mi.) so that helped with delivery time.Hope you receive it soon and it serves you well.
Thanks for the welcome guys...appreciate it and don't worry the handshake secret's safe with me. I had to sign the "Oath of Secrecy" at the dealership when Iplaced the order. No offense Monsta
Don't worry- the modification habit only gets worse once the truck arrives. Before long, you'll have chips, exhaust, tires, etc. Then the wife will really have a reason to complain.
welcome, welcome, welcome.Welcome to the greatest show on earth.Always happy to add friends here at FTE.I too have been here a short time and i have learned quite a bit about my new rig from reading the different posts. You learn here from real people who are for the most part in the same boat as you and i.We just love them there ford trucks, and there's no better way than to get info and tips from others who share the same passion for viewing the road from a bit higher than most.just remember there is no such thing as a dumb question here.
