does anybody know how the shifter **** on the super duty trucks come off? on my 98' ranger and our old 94' one ton they just slipped off of the splines. so i am assuming that ford didnt change it. cus after all, i i liked it when i shifted hard into second gear and the **** came off.
am wanting to put a new shifter **** on my truck, any help is appreciated.

My understanding is they don't come off.Epoxy or glued or pressed???I wished that they would come off.I'd like to put a T handle on.Can't stand that ball on there.Keep missing shift's at the track

doh!!!
i just ordered a b&m t handle to put on it! oh well, i guess ill just have to use some persuassion. or i could go to a salvage yard i guess and pic up a used on.
