Ventless window conversion?

I was curious if anybody had ever attempted or seen a ventless window conversion performed one an F-series or Bronco? I've seen them done for Jeeps, except those were as easy as swapping later-model parts into earlier vehicles. I'm just tired of theft, leak, and noise-prone vent windows.

Wow, I'd suppose you'd have to cut out the post, extend the slit and find a window to fit. I love my vents. Never had them before but I'd never ditch them. Try new gaskets for the leaks and noise. Possibly new locks if you have theft problems.

I'm going to reseal them; I was just wondering if anybody had seen a "final solution" to the vent window problem.

Might be easier to swap out the doors, if you can find some that fit that don't have the vent window. I've been thinking the same thing (how to get rid of the vent windows), and it seems like a lot of extra work to play around with windows and the like. I've been wondering if a new style door would fit - I like the mirrors on them much better.

I was hoping to do a bit cleaner job than that. It looks like I've got to get some glass-setting tape in order to reseal the vent windows in their frames. It looks like the windows pull right out of their frames. If not, I'll just have more square-shaped glass in the map holder.

another problem is the latch holding the window shut..I have'nt delved into the problem with it, but when Im traveling, I wedge a match pack between the latch and the frame..it pulls the window close and stops the wind sound....
