the thing about the cummins and the duramax diesels are, on there rpm and hp scales and look how early they make there peak trq/hp and then how soon and quickly the drop off. now compare that to the king of diesels the POWERSTROKE
Aiming kinda high there arent you MW95F250. I imagine it'll be bumped up to 330hp and 610tq. Then the 6.4L will be out with the complete redesign. Just hope they test it enough and dont have any problems.

And why not? I mean, if you're gonna take the lead, at least put some distance between you and the next one down.
I wouldn't imagine they would give that much power to the average joe think about it, it would be scary seeing some people behind the wheel of a 350 hp 680ft tq, 7000 lb truck. I'm waiting for international to release their new camless engine which is in the works, it uses peazo electric solenoids to operate the valves insted of a cam and pushrods, it has the possibility of developing 40 or 50% more power out of a 6.0 won't that be cool. allthough i've heard they would probably put v-6 versions in the superduty because of the power.
starting in 06 dodge will be switching to a Mercedes diesel. dodge wants to use mercedes to keep the money within the same company. Cummins is owned by ford.
