Sounds like it's time for a new email account. Choose a meaningless combo of words and a few numbers such as "34paint61sky@domain.com" to make it difficult for email harvesters to find it. Never use your name, especially your last name, in your email accounts. Open another "junk" account and use it for doing online business; some businesses often follow up with spam. I consider these types of accounts to be "disposable" since you simply abandon them if spam becomes an issue.
Hotmail (free) has excellent spam filters that will trash email from anyone who is not in your addy book or on your safe list.

Outlook express lets me set rules that automatically delete email that I don't want. I only get spam one time, then poof, off to the recycle bin.

You know...one of the best little pieces of software I have ever downloaded is something called MailWasher.
I got it from Download.com, it is shareware with a volutary doantion.
This thing works so well..it is amazing.
What it does is look at your e-mails while they are still on the server. Then you can decide if you want to DL to your desktop. If not, you put a check in the delete box and it automatically sends it back to the originator and shows up in their in-box as undeliverable due to address not being valid. It also permanently blocks that sender forever.
It has really reduced the amount of spam and viagra garbage for me in a very short time.
One simply dbl clicks on its Icon which sits on my desktop and when you have processed your mail, it starts up your e-mail client. No mess no uninvited garbage, no viruses.

ive got this one person on AOL who is just bothering the crap out of me... seems like everytime i sign on, she sends me stupid messages and other childish crap. no matter how many times i report it to AOL, no good. does anyone know how i can sign her up to recieve spam mail? im talking like LOADS of spam mail. ive told her time and time again to get lost, i come on here to use websites like FTE, not to chat with psychos like her. so now its time to stoop to her level. anyway i get take out her computer? lol maybe thats too far....but

Oh Yeah, They'll add 3" and make it stand up all night, heck they'll even set you up with someone to use it with... But They will NEVER leave you ALONE. I have blocked them, banned them, sent e-mail asking to remove me from there list, all to no avail. Now I just filter it into an auto delete file and never see it.

I just got hijacked today. Someone actually loaded a "Free Viagra Sample" link, with icon, on my desktop! AdAware didn't catch it the first time so I went in to program files and deleted it. First time that's ever happened, all the ad and spam filters I have usually work quite well.
What I could really use is the opposite of Viagra....can they make it stay down for a couple days, please? Give me a link to that product, I might buy it!!! (J/K)

I really want to know who actually buys these things, I'm constantly getting spammed with that kind of stuff, also the "Concoladate your credit" emails too! I only get it in one of my email accounts thought, the other one is 100% spam free.
