The PP is a great place to go and talk about things not even pertaining to trucks. I'm a gearhead 'til the day I die, and don't tell my dad, I even get tired of trucks, trucks, trucks. I feel a sense of community while there, and while I do not post there everyday, I do frequently read. I find things moving, funny, annoying, etc., and these are things you can't usually find in the tech forums.
