Talking Buying # 2

Ohh yeah....Ive come across a 1976 F-250 with a 390, 4speed for only $500...next Pay check im going to buy it and have me a second truck..It runs and drives, and the body is in better shape than the 79 I have. Just needed somewhere to brag for a second because most the people i know enjoy Ch**y and Do**e more than FORD. I must be meant to drive ford , because my first one i got for free and this one is way under priced...and they are both 4wd...now i wont have to settle driving something else when i get the money to fix them up, one at a time, and exactly the way i want.

Sounds good. Since you 76 is a High Boy it wont take much to put it sky high. So what are you gona do with it? I think you should build it into a monsterious show truck Just my $0.02

I have been thinking about restoring my 79 to be a good daily driver and swaping in a 460.... I can have a mild 460 built for only about $2000...When i get the 76 its going to be a toy. For fun only... figure that since it is the 2nd, its the one i should toy with , since my 79 is more dependable than anything else up here in the snow..there have been times when all the other brand trucks in town wont start because of the cold, but mine has always fired up..Im just going to plan it out now, and worry about paying for it all later.Just want to keep it to where it can navigate some of the smaller trails here, then hit a few mud pits with no problem..
