is it true u need a specail kind of cam if u put in a super charger like this one? thats what the guy from the local speed shop said. what does he mean by that just a better one than the stock one? another dumb question would a ton of more hp screw up the computer brain?http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/...ZX&appId=70973
What year is your bronco, engine ect.....
You usually have to just decreas the compression to be able to burn pump gas when you use a super charger. Depending on your year, you could probly just get away with just the supercharger. Your compression could vary from 7.5:1 or 8.5:1
The higher the compression of an engine the less boost one can run. To get the most out of a super charger it is best to have a cam grind that fits your combo. Running the stock cam means your not getting the best HP from the supercharger but then again if you can't run max boost then your not taking advantage of it either. Ask the question in the super charged forum. I am sure there are people there that know alot more than I ever will on the subject.
