Yes saw's are like trucks. That is why Stihls are like GMCs they don't stay running.

The Stihl I had would only run for 10 minutes and then it would quit. Until it cooled off.

I'm with you Beast have owned and will always own Stihls just bought a new MS 361 what a great saw! I cut about 25 cord a year and use only Stihls I have used Husky's and yes they are good saws too but I just prefer Stihls. I've got an old 015, a 038 Magnum, MS361, Pro 260, and a MS 460 and I wouldn't part with any of them

That's all I use. 3 020 T's, 2 026s, 1 390, 1 046 Magnum and 2 066 Magnums. We also only use STIHL leaf blowers, hedge trimmers and we also have a couple power pole saws. Great products IMHO.

If the O26 is such a great saw how come I had problems with the junk sence it came out of the box?

Because it was a lemon. It is bound to happen. Not all saws (or trucks) are perfect. The reason you are upset (and we have gone over this before) is because of your saw dealer. They should have taken care of you, but they didn't. You should be upset at the dealer and you should have written a letter to STIHL.

We have a great dealer here where I live. We had a problem with a leaf blower that was 6 months OUT of it's warranty (it was 2.5 years old). We took it in and he fixed it for FREE! That's why we still use STIHL AND that dealer.

And there have been a lot of cases like mine where they would not stand behind there product.
The saw is so bad I can't give it away and if I did I would feel guilty because it is a junk. So someday we will have fun running the junk over with the L-8000 dumptruck taking movies of it.

We love our Stihls at work (city parks dept), I got a Husqvarna at home, and its good, but nothing like our Stihls. We have a few 26's and 36's, couple of 44's, and the big monster...the MS 880.
