Rick
I'll tell you why Rick, because we use to get 10 to 20 people here a day asking if 35's would fit, and another 4 or 5 people saying .."ya no problem, unless I turn and hit a bump"....since I hade some laying around, and I didn't put my lift in yet, I figured I would take some pics to show how close they are to the sheet metal.
Im a giver Rick, and if my pictures would help some one come to the conclusion, that running 35's on a stock truck was probably a bad idea, then I get a warm fuzzy feeling inside, just knowing that in some little way..I helped out.
Once you go over some monster bumps and jumps the tires will fit just fine.
Yeti I'm with you I usually don't mess with tire size cause I'm too old for that kinda imbalance, roadforce, no brakes, no power kinda stuff.
I was truly disappointed to find that the link went nowhere. Yeti, I thought you were in charge of keeping that up?!I see I'm going to have take Donahoe and Haroutd out behind the woodshed for keeping you out all night.
I can give you that warm, fuzzy feeling.....
Uuuuhhhmmmm........No thanks........I don't do small jobs.
Are you trying to refer about the 8" and 40's?
because you can run them, ive seen 2 trucks in real life with them now. They dont clear all that well but you can drive around on the street with them all day long. Not my advice to run that setup, but you can run it.
On edit, you know what the difference is is between prison and marriage?..........................At least in prison you get three meals a day and (how can I say this?)"get to fool around"on conjugal visits.
No,I wasn't really, although I think you would not be very smart to do that. I have seen the guys ,though, who say" Oh yeah!well I have seen 44"s on a 3" body lift!" Anywaaayyyss. Dcspecial sent me a pic of a superduty running 44"s on a 10.5" with cutout flares. It looked pretty sharp.
cwb..... you having those fantasy dreams again.... the ones where your the inmate and yeti is the dirty guard with the BIG nightstick and long cattle prod??
