4Spd -> AOD Swap

Hey guys i have a 79 F-150 4x4 w/ a 4spd and i am planning to convert it to an AOD when the clutch goes out (on its way). I live in Bay Area california so there arent too many 79 Fords running around i can pull parts from.. Where is the best place to find the parts? Im looking for a nice C6, and also the shifter for the column.. Thanks!

Are you looking for a C6 or an AOD?

What engine?

I lived in Marin for 2 years and found acouple of pic and pull junkyards. One in Windsor above Santa Rosa. 2 or 3 in Richmond and a real good in Fairfield. Try the pic-n-pull web site for the address. Good hunting
