rear end sagging...

My rear end sags when my 93' E150 conversion V8 302 is fully loaded (about 350lbs addition weight directly above axle and 2000lbs 6x10 trailor hitched up) I am considering either an "add a leaf" which would be a cheap solution, or new heavy duty leaves. i am wondering two things... Are the "add a leaves" worth it in the long term? and if not, would the heaviest duty E150 leaf be enough? could a E250, or E350 leaf fit?

Thanks, Tyler

E250 or E350 springs will not fit, they are shorter and wider than E150.

the add-a-leaf direction IS the cheapest way to go. Or,
AIR SHOCKS.
Go to
www.partsamerica.com or
www.autozone.com
maybe even www.jcwhitney.com

Also, check the tounge weight of your trailer. I tow a Mustang on mine and my tounge weight is never more than I can lift comfortably. about 100-150 pounds. Using an anti-sway bar on the trailer and I"m comfortable with it, and get a well balanced rig.

I would also still suggest a add-a-leaf on the springs.

Go to a local spring and or frame shop to have a new rear leaf added to the set, I have found doing this instead of buying one from a mag., works much better ,and the overall cost is about the same.
