How much Boost is the norm....

Question How much Boost is the norm....

I am hiting about 22 psi. 97 f-250 4x4 SCMT, Tymar, 3"downpipe no cat 4" downpipe back. Or should it be more ?

I can get to 26 at WOT with mine on the high performance scmt (two program)

My truck, with intake, downpipe, and 4" exhaust would hit 18psi. Then I added a Diablo Delta chip, and my boost could reach 23psi. Now that I've got propane, I can get slightly above 30psi.

Dang Quadzilla, I bet that turbo sings at that PSI.

Ever worry about it coming apart from spinning to fast?

I'm generally pretty busy watching the road, and dodging imports, but the turbo seems to be holding up fine.

How much boost should a nearly stock 1996 PSD have. The only mods it has is that it is straightpiped, but stock exhaust.

I think stock is around 15.
