I've made an executive decision, and I've decided to disband the EOG project. I just don't have enough time between work and school.

However...

All is not lost. Taking a page from Racerguy's fantastic work in the F150 forum, I am going to post a sticky thread which will be a FAQ dealing with the usual stuff (IAC problems, brake rotor problems, head gasket leaking, gas mileage issues, and so on). This will eliminate new users from having to:

• Post a thread asking about a problem, only to be referred to the EOG.
• Having to ask "what's an EOG?"
• Having to get my email address because they don't have 25 posts yet.
• Having to work out kinks with Adobe Acrobat.

In addition to being considerably more useful for noobs, the FAQ can be constantly updated, and the latest version will always be available right here in our little corner of FTE.

I am going to see if Ken will allow the EOG articles (present and future) to be posted in the "Tech Articles" section under the understanding that we're not interested in the free T-shirts (it could get expensive for him in a hurry!)

With the T-shirts taken out of the equation, Ken won't be throwing money out the window and hopefully we'll get our articles published there.

That said, do me a favor and refresh my memory on the most common ailments of these vehicles (my brain is swiss cheese). All I can think of right now is the few things we have in the current EOG. In addition to that, I'm going to provide info on the head gasket leak, Viking's disappearing odometer fix, and info about the LLS.
