written warranty
the shop left a towel inside my motor and clogged all the passages so now they are flushing it out and cleaning it out for free but i need a written warranty in case my bearings go out prematurely for my granny so i can stop hearing it all. are they supposed to sign a written warranty like a 12,000 mile or a 12 month warranty or will they even do this

Well, if they said they'd give ya a warranty, I'd say for sure get something in writing.
My dad had bought a used car along with an extended warranty. About 7 months before the warranty expired, the motor blew. The dealer he got it from said he shouldn't have been allowed to buy the extended one, but since he had the paperwork verifying it, they had to honor it.
