a few friends of mine said that i could get an old set of springs for the front and chop em to lower the front and for the rear just take a few leafs out of the rear leaf springs..any ideas??i dont use the bed of the truck for hauling anything
welcome to FTE....you could always let air out of the tires...lol. I am not sure how to do it...hang around one of these guys can help I am sure. One thing I have found on this sight is we all have different definitions of cheap...so you may wanna narrow that down.
Well, the problem with going the 'cheap route' is your truck is going to ride really bad. Every bump is gonna feel like you are in an old wagon with big huge wooden wagon wheels, and every bump you hit you'll feel. You will have no absorbtion if you do it that way. But hey, it is really cheap!
Pro's:
-cheap & affordable
-your truck will be lowered like you want
Con's:
-you'll ride like crap
-no one else will want to ride with you IMO
cheapest way to lower your truck is to cut the front springs and buy a flip kit for the rear.. dont take leafs out.. be too soft.. you can also dearch your rear leafs..
