Trans ID for NP435
I see the trans link for autos, but need help on odd NP manual. I bought a GMC firetruck, which has an NP435 but has long linkage to it. I have linkage, the top of trans is gone. I need a top or looking for a top from standard truck to try the trans out. Not sure if it is the forward reverse or the backward move reverse. This is in a 69 truck. My 65 Owner's manual shows reverse as back. My 62 shop manual shows reverse forward. Here is the cast number off side. any help? I can send pictures from manual of what I need.

18 - 7? may be a date code?
It's hard enough to find parts or NP's here, much less the odd cover I need for this COE.
Any sites on-line that have info on the manuals?
