1999 5.0L DPFE part # ??

I cannot seem to find this part on the Motorcraft site. Is it called something else? Does anyone know the part #?

Ric, the part # they gave me was 2F1Z-9J460-AA. All it says on the package is "Sensor". Looked up other posts for this part number and it has been used on 2001 F-150's and Tuarus's. Mine is an '02. Don't know if it is the same part # for you or not. One guy's work order called it a "Sensor Assembly for an EGR Pressure Valve". I called my dealer this morning, told him I wanted a DPFE sensor, he said come on down I've got tons of 'em. $60.

IMHO, third party replacement parts that are manufactured exclusively for the purpose of selling at a price lower than Ford are JUNK !!

It's a different story when it comes to parts that have a quality brand name behind them and are produced to be quality parts, such as shocks, batteries, MOTOR OIL, antifreeze, and other fluids, cylinder heads, rocker arms, camshafts, intake manifolds, spark plugs, etc.

I've always had good results with Napa parts. Thats why I dont see any reason to spend the extra bucks for genuine Ford parts. Just one example 60 K miles ago I could have spent $90.00 for a Ford rebuilt water pump for my 2.9. Instead I paid $36.00 for a Napa rebuilt, it's still working just fine.

The part # that was posted is correct if your dpfe is mounted on two hoses. If it is bolted on the part number is f77z-9j460-ab, Neither have motorcraft numbers they are ford numbers only. I would only use ford parts only. I have a friend that works at a napa store and had to pay a dealer 300 bucks to find out his napa part he installed was not up to specks

If it is bolted onto what?? Mine is bolted to the intake manifold, but it has two hoses running to it.

I checked with three local dealers and they all gave me the F77Z part number, which I was not expecting. I ordered the part online since I could save 50%, but I have not actually seen the part so I don't know if it is the right one.
