Question 69-75 351w heads

I was wondering if some one could tell me what the diffrence between the69-75w heads and the later modelwindsor heads? could anybody tell how to recognize them by glansing at them or a serial #. Reason being I know where an old dodge vans sitting in an abandoned salvage yard thats stacked full of heads and crank shafts. These 69-75w heads should bolt right up on my later model windsor and if not what would i need to change? any info would be much appreciated!!!!!!!

They offer smaller combustion chambers and slightly better port flow, so if your using any thing other thans stock pistons you might wanna keep track of your compression ratio, could get kinda high. Early model 60cc chambers and late model 69cc. Look for C9OE-B, C9OE-D, D0OE-C, D0OE-G to be stamped on the underside of the heads. YOur right the above numbers are a 351w bolt on, if the (-"*") letter is different it might be a 302 head, which would require you to open up the head bolts. Good luck

If you mean D0OE 351w heads vs. D0OE 302 heads, then if I had to guess it would be, yes, but it would be a guess. The newer or 80+ heads are identical on the 302/351's (if they are E5TE or E7TE) other than the head bolts, so with that reasoning I would again say they are probably the same with the 69-75 heads. Sorry I don't have a definitive anwer, later
