i know this is alot easier than you think, let me see if i can get the article then i'll post it for you, it's easy, just buy a kit, and a second battery. they run a 24 volt winch on their ultimate super duty in 4wheeler mag. supposed to help you winch run longer heat up less and pull better. all good things.
Well, as i learned in physics, its all about the coefficient of friction. Rolling train wheels on tracks dont have too much friction (unless the brakes are on) while four rubber tires on the ground locked up have plenty. The only question is if it would stall out before it got it going. I think it would pull it with out a ****** block.
Apparently he who hesitates is lost. . . Today i went to buy the winch and right as I was walking in another guy was walking out with it in his grubby little hands (more like on his grubby little dolly). Time to go looking again. .
A single man can move a rail car. At the chemical plant they have a bar with a flat end and you stick it under the wheel and pry, repeat at a rapid rate and you can get a rail car moving on level ground. Pretty neat.
