alternator q
when I use my heater and wipers my headlights dim. if I in stall a alternator with more amps will this solve this problem or is there something else I should look in to. thanks

Yes it could very well solve your problem. But before you go spending the $200 to $300 for an upgraded alternator, (or so I have been told), why not check out other things...like corroded connections, loose connections, good grounds, good voltage regulator...etc. May be cheaper and easier to fix. If your still bent on doing the alternator upgrade, do a search in this forum. I have seen it mentioned many times. Lots of great info for you.

thanks thats some good advice,it could very well be corroded connections I had it in a mud bog some time ago and everthing got completely soaked in mud and water it cost me $15.00 to wash it off and I'm still finding chuncks of mud ever where, well it's all for fun anway.
