Face it, the factory headlamp lenses/reflectors are a joke.
If you want Silverstars, fine, but they are overpriced stock bulbs with a blue (aka darker) tint and that higher temp rating is actually NOT a good thing--that's been documented all over the internet, look it up.
Get clear headlamp assemblies and $7 white bulbs will outdo Silverstars anyday. Did the same to my Ranger which had equally lousy headlamps that I couldn't see 20 feet in front, which were yellowed out to boot.
