The check engine light was goin off and on in my 1995 Ranger and i had auto zone pull the codes. It came up 1131 and they didnt know what it meant. I wonder if any of yall can tell me.
P1131 = Lack of HO2S-11 Switch, Sensor Indicates Lean
Your upstream (i.e., before the cat converter) Oxygen Sensor is telling you that your engine is running lean (too much air and/or not enough fuel). Start by checking for vacuum leaks and making sure your fuel delivery system (pump, regulator, filter, injectors) is functioning properly. A fuel pressure test would help.
