Transfer case drain plug

Transfer case drain plug
Hi all. I have a 2002 Explorer and wanted to change the fluid in the transfer case. The diagram in the owners manual shows where to check the transfer case fluid level and it looks like there is another plug lower on the transfer case. Is this a drain or am I just wishful thinking?
