Body Swaps?
I have a 78 F250 4x4. It has been hit in the drivers side right behind the front door all the way to the rear wheel. Since rust free body parts are hard to find around here i was thinking of putting an 81 or 69 body on it. I have access to both. Has any one tried this before and will any thing line up?

The 69 is the easiest.......cab forward pretty much a direct bolt on....bed takes a little imagination to line up the mounting holes......but not that bad, IMHO.
Never tried the 81 body swap but I cant see it being too easy....completely different frame and body.
