Anyone around the Atlanta metropolitan area have a used but running 240 or 300 inline 6 cylinder engine for sale? I need to replace mine but don't want to install a remanufactured unit if I can help it because I just don't drive the truck enough miles to make it worth spending that kind of money. I could switch to a small block but since I'd like to restore the old beast some day, I'd like to keep it original too. By the way, it's for a 68 which means it's a 1 barrel non-EFI variety. Thanks to any who respond.

Well, to be honest with you, I was under the impression that you had already pulled the engine and it was laying around on the bench. I was hoping to get an engine sooner than a couple of months. No biggie- don't worry about it!

 

It's always good to have a spare! I plan on having atleast one spare engine for my truck in rebuild when I finally get situated where i want to be.
