E4OD went BANG
I have a 94 F250 4X4 110,000 miles. I was pulling a hill with my little ole ford 9n on a trailer. It is a steep winding road that I drive every day. Anyway I was in 1st at about 2500rpm as I came to a little harder pull I gave it some gas and the tranny went BANG and then no forward gears at all. I still have reverse but it will not go forward , not even a bump when it is put into gear. I'm thinking new tranny but I have to ask if there is another problem that I am missing. (converter maybe)
I have to say that little ole9n has got to be the best I have bought In a long time. That little tractor pulled my F250 ant the trailer all the way home with out a problem.
