I would not attempt the 35's, 33's will rub on a stock suspension when off road. Far as the body lift, some will tell not too and some will say there fine. They are cheaper and do not change your ride but will handle allittle different. I have a 4 inch suspension along with a 3" Body running 33's, but I like the looks of alittle fender well...Pretty easy to install, get a buddy to help and can be done in about 4 hrs.
the reason I ask if I can get 35's under is because I have 33's on now and it still looks like I have alot of room and the only rubin I get is on the in side of the traction bars when I crank the wheel. but I think I'm going to go with a body lift any way now on a 3" lift what is involved in this mod?
Don't forget that the huge gap disappears when the suspension flexxes or when you try to turn. I have a 6" susp lift and my 35's will still touch the fenders now and then. I personally would not run this size tire without a susp. lift, cause you get some stronger components with the kit to handle the added weight of the big tires.
As for the body lift, you simply add spacers to the ten body-frame mounts, cut the radiator shroud, and may have to extend the steering shaft and shift linkages on the tranny and transfer case. Some kits also come with brackets to raise your bumpers up to match the body. The hard part is working on the body mounts, esp. if they're rusted.
