F450 pickup

Has anyone heard if Ford is planning to produce an F450 with a standard 8'dually bed? I need the dry storage that a fiberglass top offers and I use a receiver hitch for a 11,000# trailer. I am in need of more braking and road stability than a 250/350 offers.

Pickup 450s and 550s today are aftermarket. In 2003 Ford will make a 450 DRW with a pickup box off the line. I think it is a delayed availability but don't remember.

Yes, the F450 will have an available pickup bed. Best bet is to contact a reputable dealer. They should have all the facts.

Anything 450 or bigger with a box is an aftermarket right now.
