I have been averaging 12.5 and the wife is pissed. I told here when I bought this truck that it would get better gas mileage than the old f-150 in line 6.
That was a freakin joke.
I am waiting to get the flash after they figure out the **** poor mileage issues.
problem they do not have a fix for poor mpg had mine 3 times still not too good best i have done is 300 miles out of 38 gal. tank it sucks down fuel like crazy , ford says nothing they can do. oh too have the old 7.3 back.
I got 430 miles per the tank. After I got the intake, I'm now getting about 450 + miles per tank. Not bad, considering its a DRW, and has 4.10 gears
Oh, its a 38 gallon tank too
If your carrying just "the ladies" and your getting such poor mileage... I'd find some thinner (less weight) ladies guy!!!!
No really, I get 13 - 14mpg in the city and 17 - 19mpg on the high with my 03 Excursion. Was more before October flash, but temps are a lot colder now as well. We are in the 20's - 50's here in Kansas City.
Go see the dealer and/or call Ford after you see the dealer.
That does sound like some poor gas milage. I just did my first solid test since I got mine lifted and got the new flash on it and I am getting about 12 MPG with 38 inch tires and a HEAVY foot. Before the lift I got about 13-14 MPG.

I mean driving them all over,,,,,,,,
The last tank of fuel I got 460 to a full tank, I will be adding a AFE intake soon that I hope will boost the MPG. Winterized diesel just flat out doesn't cut it, come on warm weather! I have a 29 gallon fuel tank.
