Normally, it does it of the lack of the affect of the brake on the right side, in your case. If there are brake discs, where I go out from you got them, the piston on the right brake saddle (what it was called over here) should be tight.
This than was caused true a defective rubber seal on the piston.
Yes did all of the above; even measured it on a slab used for lasers.
The concern it started pulling at 2332 miles and now I have 3400.
It is a new truck, and for obvious reasons, I do not want to take it in.
Have rotated the tires. When I am pulling the trailer, see gallery, it is very bad
if you have to do an aggressive stop, not panic mind you just aggressive it will try to change lanes.
My 02 X does it when the brakes get dusty, as in if I have not washed the truck in a couple of weeks. If I hose the brake disc down the problem will diminish for awhile. It gets bad on trips pulling the trailer. I have had the pads switched from side to side and checked the air pressure with no improvement. I was planning on upgrading to the aftermarket rotors and pads when it comes time to replace the existing ones. Think this might help?
Thanks.
Pat
FWIW my '00 did the same thing, and it started shortly after 5k miles, always worse when towing. I also warped rotors on a fairly regular basis. I finally went to some cryogenically treated rotors and carbon fiber pads, at the same time I saw a post about the fluid in the left caliper being dirtier than the right when bled and it fixing a similar problem. So while I changed the pads/rotors, I bled both front cylinders, and I agree what came out of the left was far worse than the right, no idea why. Since the upgrade (approx 10k miles) I have had no problems with pulling or warping. I only wish Ford would use this quality of brake components themselves.
