Do you talk a lot?

I don't which probably reflects in my posts. If I don't have something to say, I don't. I like to get to the point without any excess fluff. I work solving problems with machines that don't talk back. I would be dead if I had to be a lawyer or a salesman. I must not be a "people person". How about you?

I am a talker, my parents are talkers, my sister would make a deaf person stick their fingers in their ears. I'm sure my ancestors in loin clothes killed off the dinosaurs by making them commit suicide rather than listen to their inane drivel.
When I was in the service I had to take anti-interrogation training. One of the main rules they teach you is to just shut up- unless you are like me and, in the words of my instructor, "have that most rare ability to talk at length and not say a dam thing".

I am a talker also. I teach college classes - what do you expect! I need to fill 1 hour classes that these students have paid dearly to take so I need to "talk". It is very difficult to get my students to talk. They just want to survive my "lectures" and leave!

Not really a people person, I just don't like to talk. It drives my wife crazy! I am shift supervisor at a manufacturing facility but since it is over 100 db, I just say what is absolutely necessary and that suits me just fine.

I talk, when someone wants to listen. The rest of the time, I never say anything. Some days, I probably say less than 100 words.

I am very quiet. I wish that I had the gift of gab but I do not. It bothers me at times, but I have learned to live with it.

I don't talk much either. Never liked it, and have been coming out of my shell for the last several years, but i don't talk just to hear myself. I even have trouble talking to friends, and meeting a new person is a very anxious moment indeed.

I try to talk but nobody ever listens, so I just shut up. When I was little my cousins and aunts and uncles would always make fun of me because I was always talking and I had real stuttering problem. I feel like telling them now when they make fun of me for talking to much that if they would actually listen to me, then I wouldn't have to talk so much. Now, when we have our family get togethers for like Christmas and Thanksgiving, I may only say a few words to everyone. It makes for a boring day when there are over 80 people there and I barely talk to any of them.
